About Submersus
Founded in June 2005, Submersus has a team of experienced instructors in teaching recreational and technical diving.
Submersus is licensed by the IPDJ (Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth) as a diving school, filling station, equipment rental center, and diving center.
The school employs professional recreational and technical diving instructors from various agencies, certified by the Portuguese Navy.
In recreational diving training, Submersus offers SSI courses. For over two decades, its instructors have also been instructors for TDI and GUE.

DIVING COURSES
Submersus offers unique conditions in northern Portugal for learning and improving diving skills, with a classroom, swimming pool, shop, and experienced instructors dedicated exclusively to teaching recreational and technical diving. We offer courses from the most prestigious agencies worldwide. Our resources and instructors make Submersus a leading and excellent diving school in Portugal.
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
Submersus provides all its students and clients with maintenance services for the equipment for which it is an authorized seller.
It is an authorized maintenance center for POSEIDON, HALCYON, SCUBAPRO, APEKS, MARES, and AQUALUNG.

With the aim of creating a community with its students and diving friends, Submersus is organized as a club, providing its members with a range of benefits, frequently organizing activities, including local dive trips, diving excursions, training sessions, workshops, and presentations.
