Cursos SSI XR
Submersus offers a range of open-circuit SSI XR courses, from introductory technical diving courses to decompression diving programs using various decompression gases and trimix. Successful completion of these courses entitles the student to an international certification that certifies them to perform dives within the limits of their training and in accordance with local regulations. SSI XR courses are recognized by the European Underwater Federation.

Why do technical diving?
There are countless reasons to learn and do technical diving. Despite being a type of diving that demands great discipline, special training, more equipment, and the right attitude, it is nevertheless desired by many recreational divers. Here are some of the reasons why:
CURIOSITY. Why miss out on safely visiting fantastic dive sites just because they are a few dozen meters below our certification level? Technical diving is a fundamental tool for visiting a considerable number of shipwrecks and extraordinary locations closed to recreational diving.
EXPLORATION. It's a privilege to reach places few people reach, or even better, to be the first to discover them. There are no words to describe the feeling of being the first to discover a shipwreck or enter a cave.
ACCOMPLISHMENT. Anything worth doing requires training, time, commitment, and discipline. There is an undeniable sense of accomplishment when we go further and are more capable.
"It's difficult to imagine any aspect of our lives that isn't enhanced by competition, the drive for excellence, and the recognition of excellence."

Caverns Measureless to Man.
ADRENALINE. Technical diving isn't for adventurers, but the extraordinary sensation of exploring a submerged cave or being dozens of meters above the surface is inexplicable.
SSI XR EXTENDED RANGE COURSES

Extended Range Trimix
(triox/ one deco stage)
ABOUT THE COURSE: This course covers the theory, methods, and procedures of planned dives with decompression profiles. The program can be taught using air or trimix as bottom gas, or air. The objective of the course is to train divers in the planning and execution of dives with decompression profiles (max 25 minutes) using a decompression mixture up to 100% O2, not exceeding a depth of 45 m. In the course you will learn the DIR protocols and techniques used in decompression dives. The course is usually given over 4-5 days.
PREREQUISITES:
-
Minimum certification: Deep Dive course, Nitrox 40% and XR Foundations or equivalent
-
Diving accident insurance
-
Proof of 50 logged dives.
KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT: 18 hours
POOL SESSIONS: 1 DIVES: 6
NOT INCLUDED: Dives, Gases, Equipment Rental
INCLUDES: Digital manuals and e-learning videos.

Technical Extended Range Trimix
(Trimix / two deco stages)
ABOUT THE COURSE: The SSI Technical Extended Range program provides divers with the necessary training to plan and execute multi-stop decompression dives to depths of up to 60 meters, using two decompression gases up to 100% O2. The course is usually given in 4-5 days.
PREREQUISITES:
-
Minimum certification: Extended Range or equivalent

NOT INCLUDED: Dives, Gases, Equipment Rental
INCLUDES: Digital manuals and e-learning videos

Hypoxic Trimix
(Trimix / two deco stages + bottom stage)
ABOUT THE COURSE: The objective of the course is to train students to perform decompression using two decompression mixtures, using hypoxic trimix as a bottom gas.
During the course, students acquire knowledge about the advantages, precautions to take, and decompression strategies when using helium in mixtures used as a bottom gas. In the practical part, the course is based on the techniques and protocols of the DIR philosophy when using helium as a bottom gas in the exploration of depths up to 100m. The course is usually given in 4-5 days.
